The Teacher Innovation and Support Fund supports projects that assist in providing better student and teacher experiences within today's classrooms. The goal of this fund is to have local, innovative ideas brought forward to continue to enhance our classrooms in such areas as student achievement, student and teacher wellness, and school safety.
The Teacher Innovation and Support Fund provides funding for innovative projects from teachers that support students and improve learning environments across the province.
Application must come from certified teachers and they must work with their school and school division administration for approval of the application.
The maximum allowable amount for each project is $75,000.
Applications submitted in previous rounds that were unsuccessful in receiving funding must be resubmitted to be considered again. This is because:

We are currently accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. The deadline to submit your application is Friday May 23, 2025. Successful applicants will receive notification prior to the end of the 2024-25 school year.
