Application must come from certified teachers and they must work with their school and school division administration for approval of the application.
The maximum allowable amount for each project is $75,000.
Applications submitted in previous rounds that were unsuccessful in receiving funding must be resubmitted to be considered again. This is because:
- applications’ may have defined time frames which have since passed;
- there may have been teacher movement within school and school divisions; and,
- projects may no longer be applicable or a school division priority.

Project applications should demonstrate how the proposal is innovative, how the outcomes will be measured and how the project will impact students and staff.
Funding is awarded to school divisions once projects are approved. Projects that receive funding will be required to submit a report of their project providing details including:
- number of students impacted;
- results;
- challenges; and
- learnings.
