Saskatchewan's post-secondary institutions and the Ministry of Advanced Education work together to develop and implement the Post-Secondary Education Indicators Project to collect, analyze and report on sector-wide post-secondary data.
Along with the ministry, the project is led by the province's four public credential-granting institutions: the University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT). While the majority of students take their classes on the main campuses of these four institutions, data also includes programming offered at Saskatchewan's federated and regional colleges, and at Dumont Technical Institute. Reports from the project cover all students enrolled in credentialed programming (e.g., degree, diploma or certificate programs) through the province's public post-secondary institutions.

The Post-Secondary Education Indicators Credentials report focuses on the number of credentials awarded (degrees, diplomas and certificates) to students who have completed post-secondary education in the province since 2015.
The Post-Secondary Education Indicators Enrolments report focuses on the total number and demographics of students enrolled in post-secondary programs since the 2014-15 academic year. The report includes details such as credential type, areas of study, gender and age. Information is also broken down for Indigenous and International students.
The Post-Secondary Education Indicators Sustainability report focuses on the financial sustainability of credentialed post-secondary education by examining revenue streams and expenditure levels of Saskatchewan's institutions up to the end of the identified fiscal year.
The Post-Secondary Education Indicators Earnings Premiums report quantifies the impact that earning a post-secondary credential has on a graduate’s income potential. The report outlines the additional income earned from attaining a high school diploma, a post-secondary certificate or diploma, a bachelor’s degree, and a graduate or professional degree. Results are also provided based on gender and Indigenous identity.
The Post-Secondary Education Indicators Economic Impact report provides an economic impact analysis of Saskatchewan’s post-secondary sector. The report looks at institutions’ operations spending, out-of-province student spending, construction activity and out-of-province visitor spending to analyze the sector’s impact on gross domestic product (GDP), jobs and labour income.
Accessibility, Participation and Value 2017-18
This report provides data on accessibility, participation by age group and value derived from receiving a post-secondary education in Saskatchewan. The value indicators include the average annual income of Saskatchewan post-secondary graduates by credential type.
Students and Credentials 2017
This report compares fall enrolment and credentials awarded at Saskatchewan's two universities and Saskatchewan Polytechnic from 2013-2017. It also compares credentials earned at Saskatchewan's post-secondary institutions by age group, the number of First Nations, Métis and Inuit students enrolled, and the number of International students enrolled.
